The defaced campaign signs above were installed to support a ballot measure to fund the creation of the Carson City Knowledge + Discover Center in Carson, NV:

The Carson City Knowledge + Discovery Center (KDC) is designed as a 65,000-square-foot building that triples the space of the current library. The most needed element of the new space is room – room to have more materials, room for all ages of children, room for computers and other cutting edge technology tools, and room to serve the business community with specialized resources and meeting places.

Voters will be ask to approve 1/4 of one cent (a penny) increase in sales tax to fund a Knowledge + Discovery Center (library) and a year-round interactive plaza. The average cost per household of four is less than $1 per month, per adult.
